Tools to Extract Product Key. Normally you have several resources to find your Retail Product Key. The Tokens.dat file works as a digitally signed file, which stores the majority of the windows activation files. After you extract the Product Key, make sure to write it down and keep it in a safe place.
I need to re-install Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 on a new laptop that has no CD drive. How can I do this? I still have the original CD and the product key. However, the links I've found online (to find program files for downloading) are all obsolete. Thank you.
The Product Key will be on the Big-Yellow-Plastic-CD-Holder box, it will be on paperwork if you bought it factory installed, or online if you bought an online download. What type of "restore" did you do. If you used the restore/refresh partition or disks to "re-install" windows, you are out of luck.
Other retail versions can be installed on ONE manin computer and ONE Laptop for use BY THE SAME PERSON. If it is an OEM version then it is only for ONE machine. Two laptops by two people requires two copies of office except as noted above.--
Open any MS Office program such as Word then click on "Help" in the menu bar and click on "About Microsoft Office Word" and you will get a screen that shows the version and a bit further down you should see the product ID number. 1 person found this reply helpful.
I have the product key for my version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007. I need to find a way to restore my computer and be able to reinstall Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 without the disc. The product key is portable and may be moved to different machines as long as the previous activation is no longer in force.
